The Standard Judo tatami is manufactured to the highest specifications.
This entry level tatami remains of good quality. It can be used for both your dojos. It will withstand the many trainings of your judokas or athletes of other martial arts for years! This type of tatami is perfect for those who wish to equip themselves at home.
Made from a high quality vinyl with a rice straw pattern, specially impregnated to prevent cracking and remain flexible for many years. The mats have a microcellular non-slip base with heat-welded corners.
The standard judo tatami has a density of 230 to 240kg/m3.
Unlike many cheaper imitations, Fighting Films tatami is built to last. In fact, some of our customers are still using 30 year old Fighting Films judo mats without the vinyl cracking or the non-slip base peeling.
Our tatamis are in conformity with the European standard EN 12503-3.
Indeed during the Commonwealth Games 2022, Fighting Films mats were used, proving the quality of our tatami.
The mats are available in the standard sizes of : 2m x 1m and 1m x 1m both with a thickness of 40mm
